getaway: Santa Barbara

When my brother attended a film + photography school in Santa Barbara it quickly became our getaway destination for us lucky family members. This California coastal city just north of L.A. gives way to warm air, succulent greenery, + that typical California feeling. It is the perfect place for soft summer dresses and good sandals for both beach walking and State Street shopping. I think a trip down for a few days may be in order, for old times sake at least.
