baker's dozen


I am not much of a chef, something about cooking and me just don't click. However, place bittersweet chocolate and cocoa in front of me and I can whip up delicious magic. I have always loved baking, something about it is always sweet + calming, not to mention the end result is typically decadent. Last night I tried my hand at making the "ultimate chocolate cupcake with ganache filling" from the newest edition of Cook's Illustrated, and oh my! I have never tasted something so velvety, balanced, & filled to the brim with hues of chocolate. This is a must try recipe!
